Sawbridgeworth 2000 Millennium Trail
Sponsored by Sawbridgeworth Town Council

Sawbridgeworth Town Council marked the Year 2000 by creating a guided walkway or 'trail' through the town, passing places of historical and local interest. At nine key points there are pictorial display boards to mark the way and tell of the local history.  A pamphlet is also available with more details and as a souvenir.

The walk has been prepared by the Bishop's Stortford and District Local History Society, which runs the Bishop's Stortford Local History Museum.

Well known local historian and Sawbridgeworth resident, Wally Wright has acted as historical advisor and project coordinator.

Here is a map which shows the route of the walk.
