Welcome to the town of Sawbridgeworth
Sawbridgeworth is a small town, situated mid way between Harlow (Essex) and Bishop's Stortford (Herts).

At its heart, Bell Street and Knight Street have numerous timber framed buildings. Fair Green and Gt St Mary's Church are nearby. The River Stort and the railway are to the east, with a nature reserve and historic Great Hyde Hall beyond. The old maltings and joinery works are now industrial units and flats. At the other end of the town Pishiobury Manor and Park, and the Rivers nursery (now part orchard and part the prestigious private Rivers Hospital) lead towards the village of High Wych. Leventhorpe School is to the north of the town on the old Cambridge/Bishop's Stortford/London Road, with the village of Spellbrook beyond. |
