HERE for Sawbridgeworth 2000.
11th June
2000, Pentecost,
(also known as Whit Sunday) was marked by the churches putting on a cycle of
medieval mystery plays. The plays captured the true spirit of old mystery
plays by being performed by local people from the back of a farm cart on Fair
Green.
The plays were
brought from concept to reality by a team comprising Karin Keddy, Karen
Gooding, Fr Tim and Mark Stickley, with acting by members of the churches, and
background arrangements by Sawbridgeworth 2000, the Churches and Community
Millennium Working Group.
